Just walked by and saw the sign. The carousel is closed through Sunday for maintenance. If you had plans to take the little ones, maybe pivot to the zoo or the Lefferts Historic House instead!

Highly recommend the new toddler music class at Community Center
Started taking my 18-month-old to the new Music & Movement class at the Ravenswood Community Center and it's fantastic. Small group (max 8 kids), great instructor, and only $12/session. Thursdays at 10am. The little ones love it!

Best shaded playgrounds in Brooklyn for hot summer days?
Looking for recommendations for playgrounds with good shade coverage. The kids I watch (2 and 4) overheat so quickly at fully sun-exposed parks. Anyone know of any with tree cover or shade structures?
